Participatory reading of texts by Ester Krumbachová (1923–1996), costume designer, screenwriter, director, and artist, who worked mainly for film and theatre. Selected texts included letters, short stories, fairy tales, diaries and dream records. The reading was hosted in the uniquely preserved apartment of the poet Zeno Kaprál (1941–2020), currently serving as a cultural space. The event was conducted in the Czech language.

The participatory reading was part of the residency of the editors of the online Ester Krumbachová Archive – Zuzana Blochová and Habima Fuchs – within BAiR + G99 at the House of Arts in Brno. During the residency, they also worked on adapting the author’s texts into audio format in collaboration with Ester Krumbachová’s former colleagues and friends.
